About

This site was made and is maintained by me, Bill Jacobs. The site is dedicated to presenting narrated Flash animations on a variety of computer science topics. I believe that animations, while underutilized as a teaching tool, make it a good deal easier to learn and remember material than simply reading the material and looking at a bunch of still images. While an effort is made to mention practical considerations, this site emphasizes general computer science knowledge rather than specific programming syntax. The pseudocode used in the animations is based on the Java programming language.

The content on this site is free of charge. It is paid for by advertising revenues. I made this site mostly for the fun of it.
